I like making things out of wood. I made some bits and bats for my mother in law who is into weaving. She liked them so I started selling them on ebay. They sold surprising well (I thought weaving was pretty niche turns out there are stacks of people doing it). I got some really nice feedback from the people I sold them too . So encouraged I expanded into etsy territory and now my own website. The more I sell the more nice woodwork tools I buy, which means I can make more things and that is a virtuous circle right?

I like getting ideas from my customers for items to make, I like a challenge!
